UAH 2.5 billion to be distributed monthly among combat units of the Armed Forces for UAV procurement

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a proposal from the Ministry of Defense to allocate UAH 2.5 billion (about USD 59 million) per month directly to combat units of the Armed Forces for drone procurement.

In December, the Ministry of Defense has already provided UAH 2.1 billion for this purpose, allowing brigades to quickly acquire drones based on their operational needs while reducing reliance on centralized command.

Expanding this approach will enhance the military’s agility and responsiveness, ensuring a more adaptable and efficient supply system to strengthen Ukraine’s defense.
