On January 14, 2025, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced the approval of the WINWIN Ukrainian Global Innovation Strategy 2030, with a focus on 14 key technology areas, including Defense Tech, Space Tech, and AI.
This strategy outlines a vision for creating favorable conditions for businesses, startups, scientists, investors, and international partners to foster innovations critical for safeguarding Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, economic development, reconstruction, and supporting its transformation process.
The strategic goal in Defense Tech is to ensure full utilization of scientific, human, and technical potential of Ukraine in the field of military innovations, including by:
strengthening the resource capacity of Defense Tech solution developers through cooperation within clusters;
scaling up the production of successful Defense Tech solutions using soft loan programs; and
establishing sustainable cooperation with Ukraine's international partners for the joint development and production of critical components of weapons systems and military equipment.
One of the key institutions responsible for achieving these goals is the Brave1 cluster. Ukraine's constant goal remains the provision of the best technologies for the defense of its defenders.
