The Ministry of Defense announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had received 18 Ukrainian-made Bohdan self-propelled howitzers, funded by Denmark.
Denmark became the first country to invest in developing of Ukraine's defense industry. The Danish investment model has proven to be an effective tool for strengthening the Ukrainian army. This model provides for direct financing of the production of Ukrainian military equipment worth more than EUR 50 million.
Also in Kyiv, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov met with Danish Minister of Defenсe Troels Lund Poulsen and Managing Director of the Department for Peace, Security and Defense of the European External Action Service Benedikta Von Zeherr-Toss to discuss new opportunities for the development of the Ukrainian defense industry and further steps to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
