Angel One invests in DoD Solution and Deftak

06 Травня 2026

Ukrainian venture fund Angel One has invested in two domestic defence tech startups, DoD Solution and Deftak, allocating approximately $150,000–$200,000 to each company as part of its standard ticket size.

DoD Solution develops AURA autonomy modules for various types of drones, combining single-board computers with a proprietary AI stack for navigation, object recognition, tracking, and targeting. The company plans to use the funding to further develop its platform, design new high-performance computing units for UAVs and interceptor drones and expand into international markets. Its long-term goal is to enable full autonomy, allowing a single operator to deploy and manage multiple drones simultaneously.

Deftak focuses on developing drone-mounted munitions equipped with machine vision for targeting. These systems are compatible with different drone types, including reconnaissance platforms. The company previously secured €600,000 in funding from Darkstar and will use the new investment to scale production and advance its technology.

The deal reflects Angel One’s continued focus on early-stage defence innovation. In 2026, the fund plans to invest a total of $3 million across 12 projects, evenly split between civilian and defence sectors, with particular interest in strike capabilities, AI, and drone-based solutions.
