DFNC International Forum Brings New Defence Industry Partnerships to Ukraine

05 Листопада 2025

On 8 October 2025, Kyiv hosted the third International Defence Industries Forum (DFNC) – a leading venue for promoting defence-industrial cooperation and strengthening international security partnerships.

This year’s event brought together over 2,000 participants from more than 20 countries, including 900 companies, 120 government institutions, and 50 defence ministries. The largest delegations arrived from Denmark, the United States, Poland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Norway, underscoring broad international support for Ukraine’s defence sector.

The forum focused on key priorities such as scaling weapons production, developing drone and autonomous systems, integrating artificial intelligence into modern combat technologies, and expanding access to international financing programmes such as EDIP and SAFE.

As a result of DFNC, Ukraine concluded several new cooperation agreements, including:

  • a memorandum with Denmark establishing production facilities for Ukrainian defence companies on Danish territory;

  • an agreement with Slovakia on the supply of non-lethal and humanitarian equipment;

  • a series of agreements between Ukrainian and European defence firms, including partners from Spain and Romania.

Following three days of discussions, DFNC reaffirmed its role as a central hub for international cooperation in the defence industry, promoting the deeper integration of Ukrainian manufacturers into the global defence ecosystem.
