Sine Engineering receives investment from U.S.–Ukraine Reconstruction Fund
The U.S.–Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund has invested in Lviv-based defence tech company Sine Engineering, which develops communication modules and advanced technologies for unmanned systems. The investment marks the first of three transactions the fund plans to complete this year.
The fund currently has $150 million in capital, jointly financed by the Ukrainian government and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. According to the fund’s mandate, profits generated during the first ten years will be reinvested into Ukraine’s economy.
Founded in 2022, Sine Engineering develops hardware and software solutions that enable drones to operate without satellite navigation in contested electronic warfare environments. The company also provides multi-drone control technology that allows a single operator to manage several platforms simultaneously.
The team has grown to more than 450 employees and collaborates with over 150 Ukrainian and international drone manufacturers.
