American defence-tech startup Neros has raised USD 75 million to scale production of its strike FPV drones Archer and Archer Strike, while also announcing a major expansion of its team in Kyiv. The round was led by Sequoia Capital with participation from Vy Capital US and Interlagos, pushing Neros’ total funding above USD 120 million.

The investment will accelerate the growth of Neros’ manufacturing base, helping increase the production of drones and ground control stations, internalise key assembly stages, and build fully transparent supply chains independent of China. At the same time, the company is fast-tracking development of next-generation autonomous systems, including platforms that are more resistant to electronic warfare.

A key element of the company’s growth strategy is its expanding international presence. Alongside its Los Angeles headquarters and teams in London and Washington, D.C., Kyiv is becoming one of Neros’ core locations – a strategic decision shaped by Ukraine’s unparalleled experience in drone warfare.

For Ukraine, Neros’ expansion means faster delivery cycles, stronger technical support, and deeper integration of frontline expertise into product development. With a local office and growing R&D capabilities, the company can customise its FPV platforms directly in response to the needs of Ukrainian units, significantly speeding up innovation.
