Ukraine and France are launching joint production of AI-powered interceptor drones

03 Грудня 2025

The Ukrainian defence company Tenebris, together with the French firm Alta Ares, plans to launch full-cycle production of turbojet interceptor drones in France in 2026, designed to counter the Russian "Shahed" drones. Production has already partially begun, and the drone consists of 85% European components, reducing dependence on China.

Alta Ares is integrating these interceptors into its AI-powered Safe Protection Dome system, which uses advanced radars developed by companies Thales and Echodyne, along with its "Pixel Lock" targeting technology. According to Tenebris, this system increases interception efficiency by 35% and enables targets to be neutralized at distances of up to 30 km.

The system successfully passed NATO validation on October 20, 2025, and has already been deployed in Ukraine, where it has proven effective in countering enemy drones. After the system was demonstrated in Paris, a decision was made to expand its deployment through a partnership with Tenebris.
