Ukrainian Armor signed strategic partnership agreements with Czech company AviaNera Technologies and European missile manufacturer MBDA in June 2026.
With AviaNera Technologies, Ukrainian Armor will jointly develop and supply turbojet and turboprop engines for Ukrainian missile and unmanned systems.
The partnership also includes plans to expand production capacity, localise relevant technologies in Ukraine and potentially create joint ventures. AviaNera Technologies is part of Czechoslovak Group and develops compact engines for UAVs, loitering munitions, cruise missiles and other aviation platforms.
With MBDA, the cooperation will start with joint development of deep-strike systems and counter-UAV solutions.
The MBDA partnership will focus on technology exchange, joint production programmes and development of new defence solutions for high-intensity warfare. The companies also plan to use the cooperation as a basis for a potential joint venture.
