Ukrainian defence-tech startup M-Fly has successfully raised over USD 1.4 million in investments to accelerate the development of its cutting-edge reconnaissance technologies. The development project has attracted the interest of international investors who recognise that reliable intelligence data is essential for enabling precision strikes and ensuring the safety of Ukrainian personnel on the battlefield.

M-Fly’s engineering team has developed a next-generation camera stabiliser, addressing a long-standing need among reconnaissance drone manufacturers. The new advanced camera mount ensures exceptionally stable imaging, even during high-speed manoeuvres or challenging weather conditions. The technology is currently being integrated into Ukrainian UAV platforms, enabling units to capture clear, actionable aerial footage that supports faster and more accurate operational decisions.

After securing the initial investment, M-Fly is already moving forward with plans for a larger follow-on funding round. The company continues to develop new innovative products for the defence sector, including a laser guidance system for UAVs. In the previous year, M-Fly received USD 1.3 million from SID Venture Partners, a Ukrainian venture capital fund.
