Ukrainian defence tech company General Cherry has announced a strategic partnership with American firm Wilcox Industries Corp. The collaboration aims to establish a joint venture for producing drones in the United States, leveraging Wilcox’s facilities in New Hampshire and Ukrainian engineering expertise.
The project will focus on manufacturing FPV drones and interceptor drones. Ukrainian teams will handle development, while production will use American industrial capabilities. The venture is currently in the approval stage and requires further support from Ukrainian authorities and relevant institutions before full launch.
The joint venture is expected to accelerate the transfer of Ukrainian drone technologies to the US market, ensuring that frontline-proven designs can be scaled for mass production. By combining Ukrainian innovation in tactical and interceptor drones with American manufacturing infrastructure, the partnership aims to deliver reliable, ready-to-deploy systems for both defence and training applications.
