02 Липня 2026

On 13 May Ukraine and Lithuania signed a bilateral Drone Deal agreement.

Under the deal, the countries will develop defence-industrial and technological cooperation, including in air and missile defence and unmanned systems. The agreement also opens opportunities for co-production, technology transfer and joint manufacturing between Ukrainian and Lithuanian companies, including the possible localisation in Lithuania of long-range strike, naval, interceptor and bomber drone production.

A Ukrainian military expert team will work in Lithuania to share Ukraine’s experience in building air defence systems, countering UAVs and using drones, with the aim of strengthening Lithuania’s defence capabilities and regional security.
