Acting for Inter-Media in a dispute over the controlling stake in a major Ukrainian TV channel

Our attorneys represented Inter-Media — a subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed Central European Media Enterprises, an international media company holding and operating several TV channels in Central and Eastern Europe — in a dispute regarding title in the controlling stake in Studio 1+1, one of the major Ukrainian nationwide TV broadcasters. The case was litigated up to the Supreme Court of Ukraine, which considered it twice, rendering a precedent-setting decision on admissibility of witness evidence for court findings regarding verbal contracts.
