Brave1 increases the number of grants for defence research
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that the Brave1 defence research cluster had launched new grants of UAH 4 and 8 million, the maximum amount previously being UAH 2 million.
The grants can be used for the following developments:
(i) UAVs;
(ii) Ground and marine drones;
(iii) Means for reconnaissance and analysis of intelligence data;
(iv) Rocket and artillery weapon systems;
(v) Electronic warfare and cyber warfare systems;
(vi) Weapons based on non-traditional principles of operation;
(vii) Armament prototypes;
(viii) Troop protection and security systems;
(ix) Automated command, control, communications, and information protection systems.
Brave1 will help to obtain codification according to NATO standards, test the development at the test site, and receive feedback from the military and experts.
