Ukraine and Denmark sign Letter of Intent to launch Ukrainian defence production in Europe
Ukraine and Denmark have signed a Letter of Intent to establish Ukrainian defence production facilities in Denmark, marking a significant step toward deeper industrial and technological integration between the two countries. The agreement was formalized on the sidelines of the NATO summit in the Hague.
This is the first tangible outcome of the Build with Ukraine initiative, introduced during previous Ramstein-format meetings. The broader objective is to bolster joint defence capabilities, reinforce supply chain resilience, accelerate technology exchange, and foster integration between Ukrainian and European defence sectors.
The agreement provides for close coordination between Denmark’s Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Business and Industry, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate Ukrainian companies’ entry into the European defence industrial ecosystem.
