Acting for E.I.DuPont de Nemours & Co. in a series of patent disputes

Our attorneys acted for DuPont, a world-renowned international manufacturer of chemical products, in a number of patent cancellation and patent infringement cases aimed at prohibition to market and distribution of counterfeit biochemical products imported from China. The cases required complex evidence and profound expertise in the agrochemical and organic chemistry sectors, and thorough work with experts. In one of the cases the Superior Commercial Court of Ukraine issued a precedent-setting judgment allowing cancellation of marketing authorisation for herbicides infringing a patent even when no statutory rule regarding the obtaining of the marketing authorisation was infringed.
