Aequo successfully represented the interests of “KARPATSKI MINERALNI VODY” LLC and obtained clearance from the AMCU for the establishment of joint control with Maspex

Aequo’s competition team advised “KARPATSKI MINERALNI VODY” LLC, one of the most dynamic Ukrainian producers of natural mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages, in the procedure before the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine concerning Maspex Group’s entry into the company’s capital.
Maspex is one of the largest food and beverage groups in Central and Eastern Europe, and its investment serves as a significant signal of confidence in the Ukrainian market. The increased interest of international strategic players in partnerships with local producers reflects the resilience of the sector and its attractiveness in the broader regional landscape.

This transaction once again confirms that the food and beverage sector remains firmly on the radar of global players and continues to demonstrate steady investment interest,” noted Mariya Nizhnik.

Following its review, the Committee granted clearance for the concentration, allowing the establishment of joint control over “KARPATSKI MINERALNI VODY” LLC.
