Aequo among the TOP-25 most innovative law firms in Europe by the Financial Times 

Aequo ranked 23rd among the 50 leading European law firms in the FT Innovative Lawyers Europe 2025 Index, presented at the FT Innovative Lawyers Europe Awards 2025 in London. Aequo became the only Ukrainian law firm in the TOP-25 innovative firms in Europe. 

According to the research, the firm was commended in key categories: 

• Disputes & Crisis Management — Justice for Green Energy: Resolving Imbalance Discrimination in Ukraine. 
  A landmark ruling for the renewable energy sector, which safeguarded producers and restored foreign investor confidence. For the first time in private law relations, we applied the principle that an unlawful regulation cannot operate from the moment of its adoption. 

• Responsible Business — Rebuilding Lives: Aequo’s Pro Bono Legal Partnership with Superhumans Center. 
  Since the very beginning of the full-scale war, Aequo has been providing pro bono support to the rehabilitation centre for war victims, helping it grow and scale. 

• Knowledge & Data — Securing Knowledge, Enabling AI: Aequo’s Digital Legal Shift. 
  Aequo was one of the first in Ukraine to implement a modern system for secure knowledge and document management, ensuring resilience even to cyber threats during wartime.

The research also assessed HR policies, ESG direction, management principles, and the firm’s key strategic priorities.
