“Practical Trends in Corporate Law”: Mykhailo Lukashenko Joins the Discussion at the 17th Corporate Law Forum
How is the M&A market transforming during the war, and what trends are shaping the new corporate reality?
Aequo Partner Michael Lukashenko spoke at the XVII Corporate Law Forum organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association.
During the session “Practical Trends in Corporate Law,” Michael shared insights into the latest approaches to M&A structuring, typical deal breakers, and emerging trends in the choice of governing law.
He noted that while the M&A market remains largely buyer-driven, sellers in the miltech sector are gradually gaining stronger positions due to the limited number of well-structured and investable companies. Increasingly, deals combine elements of share and asset transactions to minimize legacy risks.
The Corporate Law Forum is an annual event that brings together lawyers, government officials, and business leaders to discuss key developments and trends in Ukraine’s corporate regulation landscape.
