Tectonic European Defence Summit – 12–13 November, Paris

On 12–13 November 2025, Paris will host the Tectonic European Defence Summit – one of Europe’s leading platforms for shaping the future of defence, security, and emerging technologies. 

The summit will bring together start-up founders, investors, military officials, diplomats, and policymakers from across Europe, the United States, and partner countries. Participants will explore strategies to enhance Europe’s defence and technology sectors amid increasing geopolitical tensions and shifting security dynamics. 

The programme features high-level panel discussions, including "European Defence Beyond Ukraine" and "Working Together: Innovation across Europe and NATO". These sessions will explore Ukraine’s role in reinforcing Europe’s collective security, the integration of its combat experience into the defence planning of allied nations, and the future of technological cooperation across the continent. 

Other agenda highlights include debates on autonomous systems and drone development ("Cheap and Cheerful: Scaling Up Mass Drone Production", "The Race to Automate"), missile and drone defence ("The First Line of Defence"), as well as Europe’s strategic autonomy, investment in space technologies, and defence innovation. 

For Ukraine, participation in the Tectonic Summit offers a valuable opportunity to showcase domestic technological achievements, and contribute to shaping post-war security and cooperation models.
