Anna Babych has been appointed to the group of Ukrainian experts of the Advisory Coordination Council on Corporate Governance

Anna Babych, Executive Partner at Aequo, has been appointed to the group of Ukrainian experts of the Advisory Coordination Council on Corporate Governance – an independent advisory body established under the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine (NSSMC). 

The Council focuses on the development of corporate governance in Ukraine, the alignment of Ukrainian legislation with European standards, and the implementation of international best practices. 

The Council’s key areas of work include: 
— analysing the current state of and key challenges in corporate governance; 
— preparing recommendations for improving legislation and regulation; 
— providing expert support to the NSSMC in the development of laws and regulations; 
— facilitating dialogue between the regulator, businesses, and international institutions. 

The Council brings together representatives of international organisations, leading Ukrainian and international experts, legal professionals, and members of the business community. Its work plays an important role in Ukraine’s European integration, the development of transparent corporate governance, and the strengthening of the country’s investment attractiveness.
