Acting for an international investor in a USD 1 billion shareholders' dispute

Our attorneys acted at Ukrainian courts for an international investor in a real estate group of companies with assets in Ukraine worth approximately USD 1 billion, in a shareholders’ dispute regarding buy-out of minority shareholders’ shares.

The matter involved several litigation matters, pre-trial and enforcement proceedings, and trial preparation work in several jurisdictions including Ukraine, Cyprus, Israel and Austria.

On the basis of a claim brought in Cyprus and interim measures granted by the court, our team assisted the client in taking control over all the Ukrainian companies of the group. As a result, the dispute was successfully settled at court with our client obtaining premium market price for his shares.
