Aequo helped Vodafone Ukraine to acquire Freenet

The Vodafone Ukraine group acquired Freenet company – the provider of fixed internet access services under the «О3» brand. The purchase of the company is part of the Vodafone Ukraine's strategy to develop convergent services and tariffs.

The Aequo team that advised on the transaction included M&A partners Anna Babych and Michael Lukashenko, antitrust partner Sergey Denisenko, counsel and leader of Aequo’s IT group Mykyta Polatayko, counsel Vasyl Mishchenko, senior associate Yevgen Blok, patent and trademark attorney Iryna Serdyuk, and associates Yevhenia Chernetsova, Vitaliy Savkov, and Marta Demkiv.
