Aequo advises Danone S.A. on Ukrainian competition Issues

Aequo advised Danone S.A. on Ukrainian competition issues, namely obtaining merger clearance from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for the acquisition of sole control by Danone S.A. over Dairy JV Holdings Limited.

Dairy JV Holdings Limited was established in 2010 in order to merge the businesses of Danone and Unimilk groups, major manufacturers of milk products, in the territory of CIS countries. Until recently, Dairy JV Holdings Limited has been jointly controlled by Danone S.A. and Unimilk. Following the completion of the transaction all shares in Dairy JV Holdings Limited owned by Unimilk Group will be acquired by Danone S.A.
