Aequo is the Winner in Two Categories of the Legal Awards 2020

On July 3, an award ceremony for the best lawyers of Ukraine — "Legal Awards 2020" — has been held. Annual Legal Awards has been established by a weekly newspaper "Yuridicheskaya Praktika" and is considered to be a legal Oscar in Ukraine.

Aequo has won in two Legal Awards 2020 categories:

• Law Firm of the Year in Competition Law,

• Law firm of the Year in Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals.

Aequo has been nominated for the Law Firm of the Year and also in 16 other categories: Law Firm of the Year in Agribusiness, in Banking/Finance, in Intellectual Property, in Infrastructure, in Competition, in Corporate, in M&A, in Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, in Real Estate, in Energy, and in Cross Border Litigation. Partner Anna Babych has been shortlisted in two categories: "Best Lawyer in Corporate Law and M&A" and "Best Lawyer in Private Client Support". Oleksandr Mamunya has been nominated for the Best Intellectual Property Lawyer award. Partner Yulia Kyrpa has been shortlisted for the Best Lawyer in Banking/Finance Law nomination. Partner Sergey Denisenko has been nominated for the Best Competition Lawyer category.

The awards were conferred in 49 categories, in total. Criteria for the winners' selection include achievements of the law firm in the legal services market of Ukraine, significant deals and litigation, financial indicators, major Ukrainian and foreign clients, partners' engagement in law firm management, social and pro bono activities.
