Aequo Once Again Named among the Most Innovative Law Firms in Europe by FT Innovative Lawyers
Aequo has been named among the 50 most innovative law firms in Europe according to the prestigious annual ranking FT Innovative Lawyers 2018, released on 5 October 2018.
Furthermore, this year Aequo has been recommended in two categories:
Highly Commended in Managing Complexity and Scale: Aequo "internationalised the Ukrainian non-performing loans market by drafting new regulations to allow foreign investors into the market. The new regulations give better protection against graft – the use of a politician’s authority for personal gain – and have the potential to help Ukraine’s recovery in the wake of its 2014-15 financial crisis."
Commended in Managing and Developing Talent: researchers praise Aequo Friends outsourcing platform created by the firm through a “unique talent development initiative in Ukraine. The programme assists with the management of an unpredictable workload and helps develop a talent pool.”
Researches also praise Aequo for assisting Dragon Capital in negotiations for the acquisition of the Eurasia and Prime business centres in central Kiev.
Aequo is the only Ukrainian law firm that has been listed in the ranking of the most innovative firms in Europe for the fourth consecutive year according to FT Innovative Lawyers.
Now in its twelfth year of publication, the FT Innovative Lawyers Report has become one of the top legal rankings in Europe and the accompanying awards are widely regarded as the best researched in the market. Over the past decade, it has assessed legal innovation in over 50 different countries from over 500 unique law firms and over 550 company in-house legal departments.
