Andrey Nikolayenko Appointed to the INTA’s Trademark Office Practices Committee for the 2018–2019 Term
Andrey Nikolayenko, Aequo’s senior associate, has been appointed to the Trademark Office Practices Committee (TOPC) of International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2018–2019 term. Andrey participates in the work of the European National Offices (ENO) Subcommittee.
The Committee evaluates and suggests improvements to trademark office practices, procedures, operations and regulations at the national, regional and international levels. The committee will monitor trademark office developments in various jurisdictions, complete analyses and propose policy recommendations to the Board. Work includes report and submission writing, and advocacy in conjunction with relevant INTA committees and staff.

INTA’s members are more than 7,000 organizations from 190 countries. INTA members collectively contribute almost US $12 trillion to global GDP annually. There are also government agency members as well as individual professor and student members.
