Aequo Announces Legal Staff Promotions

Aequo is delighted to announce the promotion of Mykhaylo Soroka and Oleksandr Tereshchenko to senior associates.

Mykhaylo Soroka has over 15 years of hands-on experience in the land use, the Real Property Law and the Administrative Law. He handles all issues for the real estate and construction practice of the firm and provides legal expertise regarding M&A transactions, court disputes, investment, risk assessment and mitigation if real estate is in question. He advised investment funds and retail companies on the high-value acquisition of properties, conducted due diligence audits of the real estate and provided legal support for developers concerning design and construction.

Oleksandr Tereshchenko has extensive experience in advising foreign and domestic companies (including importers, exporters, manufacturers and distributors) on complex issues of international trade (such as trade remedies, supply and distribution), customs, tax and transport law, as well as the structuring of cross-border transactions. He also provides legal support to a number of worldwide corporations and private equity funds on various competition and antitrust issues.
