Aequo has secured a landmark victory before the Supreme Court in favour of the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU).

The dispute arose from the adjustment of gas value following legislative changes. Courts had previously issued inconsistent rulings in similar cases, and GTSOU’s claims were not fully satisfied.

The Supreme Court unified judicial practice by delivering a final decision in favour of Aequo’s client. The Court confirmed that GTSOU is entitled to adjust the value of gas to ensure its compliance with sector-specific legislation.

The result achieved by Aequo’s team is crucial for ensuring both the financial stability of GTSOU and the consistency of commercial practices within the gas industry.
